Submission Guidelines

We welcome all forms of written communication: poetry, short stories, articles, interviews, essays. Please ensure the work is titled and submit in a word doc using standard manuscript format (12 point, Times New Roman, double spaced). We also encourage you to submit accompanying images where appropriate.

 

Email submission to submissions@loveandliterature.com.au
as a word doc with subject line “submission issue 3”. If you wish to submit accompanying images, please provide a link to a digital folder containing at least 2 images in JPEG or PDF format. Ensure to credit the images in the body of the email, i.e.

Any medium that can be captured professionally (high-resolution scan or photograph) is welcome. This includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, collage, etc. Please provide a brief written description to accompany the work (minimum 200 words). It is encouraged artists title their work.

As this is predominantly an art and literature magazine, we accept limited fashion works and we are highly selective.

Editorials with a heavy artistic approach are welcome. For designers and stylists, lean into creative expression as loudly as you wish and experiment with presenting garments in non-traditional ways.
